Propper grammar is one of those things that drives me crazy about email, texting or anythign who just doesn't have a brain. People don't CAPATALIZE or set M A rgi ns. P.e.r.i.o.d.s. seem to be non existant... and dash it all people spl it ot. cz i cnt read it 4 anything. But when you're writing just for yourself it's alright to do whatever you want...
Blog/Journal/Records of any kind have never been something I've been good at keeping.. so I decided if I was going to do this it's be just for me... maybe close family and friends. But I wanted it to be "something worth writting". Not just shizzle from the street or "I got new glasses" (Although I really did, they look pretty good if I do say so myself). I wanted it to be those things that I'll want to remember years from now. Things that matter. That have substance. So here goes...
"It's about time". It's some corny message at the end of all the church commericials. It's like a slogan for fine wine or cheese. It's what this life is really all about. As I was hiking this weekend I was discussing with a fellow hikee (Who shall remain nameless for his own protection) why I go on these death marches of my father's. It's never about the hikes... they often leave me maimed/disabled/handicaped. It's about the people... the memories and feelings left behind by the human interaction experienced on these trips. I've concluded that there are moments in life you'll never forget... but you will forget most of them. On the other hand there are feelings gained from life experiences that you will never forget... and they out number the moments by the thosands. Last night I remember what it was life to date my wife again. What's an incredible feelings of joy and happiness. So how's this relate to time???? Time is the investment we make for a lifetime of feelings that will never be forgotten.
